Christmas Celebrations 2019

Dear Parents/Carers,

Looking ahead to the end of term, we have lots of Christmas events to enjoy in school. We thought it might be useful to summarise them for you all in one message.

Please help us to make this year extra Christmassy by getting involved in these events, starting with the TSA Christmas Fair this Saturday.

Best wishes

Ruth Austin

If your child would like to take part, they are invited to come to school wearing a Christmas jumper and bring in a £1 donation. If your child does not have a Christmas jumper, they could wear a festive or winter themed jumper or a jumper in festive colours. Children do not need to wear school shirts or ties with their jumper but they will need to wear school trousers/skirts and school shoes as usual.

Please send orders for Christmas dinner in by Monday 9th December - £2.20 per child. (Children in Reception and KS1 are in receipt of Universal Free meals so do not need to pay.)

KS2 Carols on the play ground

Friday 13th December - 2:45pm until 3:15pm (gates will open at 2:40pm)

We would like to invite you to the key stage 2 Christmas performance. This year, the performance will take place on the playground.

To help create a Christmas atmosphere, children will be wearing their coats, hats and scarfs. As well as this, we would like each child to bring in a small battery operated candle to hold as part of the performance. Please do not send in battery-operated torches, lasers or anything requiring a naked flame.

The TSA will also be selling hot drinks, mulled wine and mince pies during the afternoon. This is a great opportunity for the children to celebrate Christmas with both family and friends. We look forward to seeing you at the festivities.
