School Day

The Tunbury school day starts at 8.40.  Our playground gate (by Tunbury park) and side gate (by Walderslade Baptist Church) are open for a 10 minute window from 8.40-8.50.  Children say goodbye to parents/carers at the gates and then free-flow directly into their classrooms.

Registration: 8.55

Break Time: 10.30– 10.45 (Years 1-6)

Lunchtime: 12.00-12.55 (Years R-1) and 12.15-1.10 (Years 2-6)

End of school day: 3.10 (Years R-2) and 3.15 (Years 3-6)

At the end of the school day, children are collected from their classroom door (Years R-2) or on the upper playground (Years 3-6).

The length of our school week is 32.5 hours for Years R–2 and 32.9 hours for Years 3-6.
